Me

Hi.  My name is Kim Plemmons.  My  work background is diverse. I was in the U.S. Navy for four years, worked as an administrative assistant in the civilian sector, then I apprenticed and became a Florida-certified elevator inspector while working along side my husband.  My husband passed away in 2020. After his passing, I decided to focus on my non-profit cat rescue charity.

Dusty (The Founder)

I confess, I was a dog person until the year 2001 when I I visited a pound in Washington State to look for a small dog to adopt. After not finding a small dog to adopt, I walked over to the cat section and found Dusty. Thereafter, I became a full-fledged cat person. Dusty passed away in March of 2021 .  This non-profit charity is created in his memory to help other cats and kittens that are in need of love and care.

My Story

We provide food, shelter, medicine (rabies vaccines, testing/treatment for parasites, antibiotics, etc), and spay/neuter/release (TNR) cats onto our property, located in Clewiston, FL.  Currently, we care for more than 24 cats.  Any donation is appreciated and goes to the care of these and future strays.  Thank you.
